Who we are
Jabal An-Nar Club was established in 2003 by a group of active youth and community leaders to enhance the quality of youth in social, economic, cultural, sports, and volunteering fields.

We provide Palestinian youth and children with an inclusive and diverse space where they can communicate, enhance their skills and potentials to make a genuine impact in their local community in Nablus and the northern West Bank.

Core programs
Our core programs aim to empower youth and foster sustainable development by providing essential skills, promoting leadership, and creating economic opportunities. These initiatives focus on capacity building, supporting innovation, and encouraging community engagement to pave the way for a brighter and more inclusive future. The core programs we offer are as follows:
Media and ICT
Specialized training in photography, filmmaking, graphic design, and internships for youth in media and technology.
Civic Engagement
Leadership development, social initiatives, voluntary work, and educational support for marginalized communities.
Economic Empowerment
Career counseling, entrepreneurship training, internships, and skill-building programs for fresh graduates.
02 : MYPICs
MYPICs Media Platform
“MYPICs” established in 2018, aims to foster innovation and develop youth talent with the help of a creative group of young individuals and experts in advertising, media, and entertainment. The platform offers various services, including organizing activities, producing visual content, and training young generations in photography, editing, TV presentation, and graphic design.
In 2024, the Club conducted training programs and specialized workshops in various media fields, targeting 150 young men and women. The media team produced numerous pieces of diverse visual content, including sketches, documentaries, and promotional films that addressed various youth and community issues. Additionally, the team covered many community and national events, and numerous students received training as part of local universities accredited practical courses in graphic design, media, and public relations.
The staff is committed to continuing the training of youth from different age groups while also enhancing the media capabilities of partner organizations. The Club will focus on improving the quality of produced content and empowering the youth to create visual material that highlights youth and community challenges, as well as important societal issues.

Jabal An-Nar Club implements projects that support youth, children, and marginalized groups by developing their skills and promoting active community participation. We currently run the following core projects:
Positive Youth Engagement (PYE) Program
The Program is implemented by the global Mercy Corps Organization in partnership with the International Youth Foundation (IYF) and various local partners in the West Bank and Gaza.
Jahizat
Jabal An-Nar Club has launched the Jahizat project to promote social and economic empowerment for girls and young women in the northern West Bank. It is funded by the USAID and executed by the Global Communities Foundation.
Steps
The project is implemented by MSI, a Tetra Tech Company, and funded by the USAID.

Dima Jamous
Dima Jamous is a shining example of the transformative power of education and hands-on experience. Her journey to success began when she became an active participant in a youth facilitator camp, and her life took a remarkable turn from that point forward.
Asil Al-Aghbar
Asil Al-Aghbar is a significant example of youthful creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Her journey from a participant in the Creative Youth Pathways program and then in self-branding pathway training to a successful business owner is a testament to her determination and vision for the future.
Basema Raed
Meet Basema, a 23-year-old young woman from Asira-Nablus. Basema is a life skills trainer on the PTS curriculum. She graduated from An-Najah National University in 2021 with a diploma in social work. Basema has been active since high school.
