About Us:
Who we are
The first chapter of our story began when a group of 25 Palestinian pioneers and community activists established Jabal An-Nar Club in 2003. The club’s approach is based on enhancing the capabilities and skills of Palestinian youth in Nablus governorate, providing them with opportunities where they can effectively engage in social, economic, voluntary, and cultural activities. In 2009, Jabal An-Nar established a Youth Development Resources Center (YDRC), expanding its activities to include various workshops in the fields of information and communications technology (ICT), media, and other activities. Furthermore, the club has enhanced its programs to include economic empowerment programs, and various civic engagement programs in Nablus governorate and the northern West Bank.
Objectives
- Provide employment opportunities for youth.
- Qualify youth so they have actual and effective roles in settling the emerging social and cultural matters in society.
- Provide recreational activities for the community’s marginalized members in Nablus governorate and the northern West Bank.
- Improve the club’s performance to be self-sufficient and advance sustainably.
Vision
Youth are active contributors to the development of their local community.
Mission
We provide Palestinian youth and children with an inclusive and diverse space where they can communicate, enhance their skills and potentials to make a genuine impact in their local community in Nablus and the northern West Bank.
