The Jahizat project is implemented by Jabal An-Nar Club in partnership with a network of civil society organizations in the northern West Bank, including Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, and Qalqilya. The project is part of the Active Citizen Activity (ACA) program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Global Communities.
Jahizat targets girls and young women aged 12 to 49, aiming to enhance their social and economic participation in local communities. The program adopts a dual-track approach: for young women aged 17 to 49, it provides training in entrepreneurship, vocational guidance, and life skills, enabling them to enter the labor market and establish income-generating initiatives. For younger girls aged 12 to 15, Jahizat focuses on boosting self-confidence, leadership, and personal development, equipping them to play more active roles in their families and communities.
Through a series of workshops, interactive sessions, and community-based activities, the project fosters inclusive spaces that support empowerment, leadership, and long-term resilience for girls and young women across northern West Bank cities.
